Grumble's Eyes

Step 1: Paint the eyes black
Goal: to add depth

Step 2: Paint the whites of the eyes
Leave a thin black border.
Break up the white with a touch of pink. It should still look white
Step 3: Paint the iris and pupil
Draw another black circle that’s cut off at the top (unless you want to draw wide-open eyes
Then paint the iris, leaving the pupil in the center. Leave the black outline
Lighten the lower part of the iris
Step 4: Eye reflection
Add two white dots to indicate the highlights in the eye
Add a white dot on the light-colored area + one in the center, straddling the pupil and the iris
Step 5: Add a touch of pink to the corners of the eye
Apply a very diluted wash to the creases of the eye. Go gently
